Commercial Bouncy Castle Warranty

Date: 04 Jun 2009

3 years ? or 12 months ? How it works.

There are always issues with warranties on bouncy castles. These mainly arise from the fact the commercial bouncy castles are generally abused whilst in use. We are all aware there are some pretty boistoroius children out there that certainly won't abide by the rules of use. So at Andy J Leisre ltd we offer a no quibble back to base 12 month warranty. This means whether your inflatable bouncy castle has been damaged, slashed, abused, or defaced in the first 12 months of its life, simply return it to ourselves and we will repair it free for you. Obviously costs of transport are to yourself.

When purchasing a bouncy castle from ourselves we also offer a 3 year back to base warranty. This warranty is only valid for the 3 years if the inflatable is returned on its anniversary each year for testing and certificating by ourselves at a cost of £59. This also gives the hirer peace of mind that their bouncing castle is safe and checked, ready for the next season. Some councils also may insist you have a valid test certificate from competent, trained manufacturers, before they allow your inflatable bouncy castle on their grounds.

Further to this here are some tips on keeping your inflatable jumping castle, free from damage.

Always give out the bouncy castle hire agreement and insist the customer reads and signs it (see hire template in this news section), also verbally advise the customer of the basic dos and don'ts.

Strongly advise no adults to use the non adult bouncy castles, remember you can get a 25 stone adult!

Why not place a small sign in front of the bouncy castle stating NO ADULTS you have signed a binding agreement, damage will be charged. This tells people that arrive at the party that the bouncing castle is for kids only, as they might not be aware of this. It makes people this twice before disrespecting your inflatable investment.

Never leave units overnite. Once the drink starts flowing supervision goes out the window, as does respect. When I hired, I returned to collect an inflatable slide combo bouncy castle from a house at 11pm and the parents where taking turns jumping out the bedroom windows onto the bouncy castle below. I had to restitch the slide and one bed panel the next day before the inflatable was re hired out. They did pay for this after many words were said!

It is worth remembering the are 6 ROWS OF STITCHING on our bouncing beds, and this stitching is LOCK STITCHING, this means it won't travel when broken or damaged. So if you spot a broken stitch, do not panic. Simply monitor it through out the season. If the one below it goes then make repair arrangements.
