This is a question we are asked at least once a day. Since I began in this industry it fascinated me how these things worked and I believe I had to learn the hard way. Since 1991 a long process of flaw finding has took place, some of these can take 12 months to discover and by this time your goods could be in New Zealand. So the learning curves in this Bouncy Castle industry are extremely expensive.

Some useful information though for anyone thinking of starting in the bouncy castle manufacturing business, you will require large premises to operate your inflatable manufacture in. Also nobody can be competetive in this industry anymore unless you have state of the art cutting machines. These do the weeks work of 3 men in a day! A huge saving, ours cost £50, 000 and when it brakes down be prepared for huge bill (if you can get somebody to repair it that is ) apart from this it is a must in the industry now. Also state of the art digital printers have helped save fortunes on hand painting, but there is only a few machines suitable to our bouncy castle industry and they too do not come cheap.

Staff. Big problem once trained (this can take years ) you have to keep them, if you can, the winters are long and hard in the inflatable bouncing castle business, lay your staff off and it will prove difficult to poach them back.

Buying, luckily with our volume turnover, small profit regime in force, we are large buyers of raw materials, saving up to 40 percent, so this gives us an edge. Otherwise we would not be here.

Product, these days you are required to meet HSE guides if you wish to remain in business. This means keeping up to date in a fast changing industry, we are constantly re designing our product to make it more durable.
