Bouncy castle sales on Auction Sites

Date: 22 Apr 2009

Beware when you buy a 2nd hand bouncing castle, buying second hand bouncy castles and Inflatables on Auction sites can be a risk.

Over the past few years we have discovered many customers we have dealt with pick up the odd bargain bouncy castle on one of the many auction site available, only to discover that the bargain they wished for is not suitable for a bonfire!

This year has seen a great increase in the bargain hunting on these sites and many purchasers being disappointed. Not a day goes by at Andy J bouncy castles factory, without a call from some unfortunate auction bouncy castle buyer who has bought a pile of unrepairable junk. All though we specialise in bouncy castle repairs, we are too busy in the season months to handle repairs in volume. So we have decided to offer buyers some bouncy castle tips.

  1. Check the person auctioning the goods has a good feedback score. This will help define the bouncy castle description is honest.

  2. Try to view the castle 1st. If the buyer won't allow this, don't buy it.

  3. Ask the buyer if the castle has any papers or warranty with it. Most reputable manufacturers provide a test certificate with their new jumping castles. You might find that nobody is prepared to test your purchase.

  4. It is worth remembering that these bouncy castles and inflatables MAKE MONEY, so if one is for sale it must be for a reason??

Feel free to call ANDY J to discuss any purchases of bouncy castles you are thinking about we offer free advice.
