Signs and stationery are an important part of marketing your bouncy castle business and should be taken into consideration the minute you decide you want to run your own business. The first thing you need once you have decided to start your business and you have picked a name for it is your business cards.

Business cards:

They can be very simple and printed on your home computer or you can order professional, glossy cards with photographs of your inflatables on them. The most important thing is getting some business cards done, so that you network with people you meet and pass them out, after all, you never know when someone needs a bouncy castle, you can be their first port of call! There are various things you can include on your business cards, these include: your business name, phone number, e mail address, and website address if you have one. A logo is a nice touch but not essential. If you are going for pricing strategy - print a discount voucher on the back. People who are interested will then keep it around!

Business card distribution:

Once you have your business cards made, it is then up to you to pass them around to everyone you meet. Leave a few on the tables when you visit fastfood or family restaurants. People are likely to notice them and if they like the sound of a local bouncy castle business, they will keep hold of it. Pin them on bulletin boards at news agents and local shops. If you are providing a bouncy castle for a party, ask the parent if they would mind putting one of your business cards in each child’s goody bag to take home.

Bouncy castle and inflatable banners:

Almost all bouncy castle units come with a customized banner on the front. Make sure yours includes your business name and phone number. If you plan to have a website, go ahead and reserve your domain name (www.business-name.com) and have it printed on the banner as well. This may help a potential customer remember your company and look you up when they are ready to hire a castle.

Car Signs:

Make your car pay back some of the money you have put into it! Buy magnetic signs for your car or van that include your company name, logo, phone number, and website address. If you are really serious about building your business straight away, you can have your car professionally screen printed to make a real impact on passers by.

Garden Banners:

Consider having banners made that you can place in gardens or next to your inflatables when they are being used. Make sure you include your company information such as business name and telephone number. If you have a garden banner or two place one or two around the bouncy castle during a rental for extra visibility. See if friends or colleagues will allow you to place one in their garden for a week or two. Check local sign ordinances- you may be able to place the signs near motorways or busy roads or other areas where they can be seen. Always ask permission first.
